In production safety, risks are everywhere, and prevention is better than rescue. On December 8, Xinhua Environmental Protection Technology held a special emergency plan drill for confined space accidents in 2023 in the acid rolling workshop. Zhang Shulin, secretary of the Party Committee and director of the Dong'e County Emergency Management Bureau, Zhao Wanfeng, secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Management Committee of the Dong'e Economic Development Zone, and other leaders, as well as personnel from some surrounding companies, watched the drill on site.

This drill was hosted by the Safety Department and co-organized by various production workshops. The purpose of the drill was to improve the ability to deal with sudden accidents in confined spaces. Through emergency drills for set accidents, the actual combat capability and rescue level of our company's confined space accident emergency rescue plan were tested, and the emergency team was prompted to master the emergency rescue operation procedures and methods, and continuously improve the actual combat capability of our company's emergency team in disaster relief.

This drill simulated that the operator of the sewage pool in the acid rolling workshop violated regulations when cleaning sludge in the sewage pool without forced ventilation, gas detection, and wearing labor protection equipment, causing one operator to faint and be poisoned, and the situation was critical.
Time is life, and rescue is urgent. After receiving the report from the person in charge of the operating unit, the company immediately launched a special emergency plan for confined space accidents, urgently notified all rescue teams to rush to the scene, and carried out emergency rescue work according to the drill procedures.
The warning evacuation personnel pulled up the cordon to control the scene and evacuate the personnel; the emergency rescue personnel carried rescue equipment such as rescue tripods, air-supply air respirators, and portable air blowers for rescue; the medical rescue personnel took cardiopulmonary resuscitation measures for the wounded.
After nearly 30 minutes of emergency rescue and disposal, the poisoned people were properly handled and sent to the hospital for further treatment. The scene returned to normal. After the leaders of each team reported to the commander-in-chief on the completion of their respective emergency rescue, the emergency drill ended successfully.

Zhang Shulin, secretary of the Party Committee and director of the Dong'e County Emergency Management Bureau, commented on the drill. He pointed out that this limited space operation accident drill activity reflected the careful organization, careful arrangement and close cooperation of the participating units in terms of rescue procedures, emergency material preparation, and personnel operation proficiency. The drill achieved the expected results and was a complete success.
Director Zhang emphasized that in recent years, there have been frequent accidents in limited space operations in various places, and the blind rescue has led to the expansion of casualties and serious consequences, which has sounded the alarm for us. We must pay attention to the safety of limited space operations, improve our awareness of the dangers of limited space operations, and do a good job in preventing such accidents. This is an important task and task for all our companies at present. We must find out the bottom line of our company's limited space, conduct regular safety training, strictly abide by operating procedures, and improve our own safety quality. We must closely combine accident emergency plans and drills, hold them firmly in our hands, and train the team through continuous actual combat exercises to create a strong guarantee team that can be summoned, can fight, and will win, to ensure the continued and stable improvement of the safety production situation in our county and the safety of people's lives and property.
The successful holding of this exercise will help promote the solid progress of the company's overall safety management work
